Kate Osana Simonian is an Armenian-Australian novelist, essayist, and short story writer hailing from Sydney. Her work has been published by, or is forthcoming in, The Kenyon Review, Ninth Letter, Post Road, Passages North, The Colorado ReviewThe Chicago Tribune, and The Best Australian Stories. In 2017, she won the Nelson Algren Award. She is completing an English PhD at Texas Tech, where she is a grateful recipient of a Presidential Fellowship.
